The story of Noah can be found in the Bible by reading from the book of Genesis chapters 6-9.
Once you know how the story goes, you can tell your child the story of Noah using this slideshow: http://biblelessonsite.org/slideshow3.html

My son is two (29 months), so we emphasize things like,
"God teaches us what to do and we listen to be safe."
or "God always keeps his promises."
and, "It doesn't pay to disobey."
How to make Noah's Ark:
You will need:
Construction Paper
Small Container
Scissors
Blue Marker (or Crayon)
Glue Stick
STEP 1:
Take a variety of colors from your collection of construction paper and cut them into various shapes and sizes. I recommend making them into one inch shapes - just the right size for little fingers to hold and still apply glue to. Place loose shapes into a small container. A cereal bowl would work.
STEP 2:
Have child randomly glue shapes onto a white or light colored piece of paper. Encourage them to place shapes as close to the middle of the page as possible. This will, eventually, become the main part, or hull, of the boat.
STEP 3:
Turn the artwork over. Draw a wide semi circle in the section where most of the shapes were applied. Then cut the semi-circle out and place aside.
STEP 4:
Meanwhile, direct your child to choose the color blue and draw water on a new construction paper. I reccomend using the color blue to stick with the theme.
STEP 5:
Take the scrap, unused portion from the outside of the semi-circle that you previously cut out. In order to make the roof of the boat, cut two similar sized skinny rectangles and place into a 90 degree angle. Glue angled shapes and set on top of page (as shown) with a little glue.
STEP 6:
Now instruct your child to place glue on the back side of the hull of the boat. Place under the roof. Use a dark marker to trace the perimeter of the boat (optional). That's it! You're done!
Closing Prayer:
"Dear God, thank you for watching over me.
Please help me to always listen to your still, small voice.
Thank you that I'm a child of God!"
Please help me to always listen to your still, small voice.
Thank you that I'm a child of God!"
